LAY WEEDERS MOST APPRECIATED!! Many thanks to Roberta and Dave Cathell who battled the weeds in the Proscholdt Garden! Any time anyone gets the urge to dig in the dirt, c'mon out! We have plenty of weeds for you to pull- and offer free cool water to workers!

Several Sundays still remain open for flower donations and missionary support. Please check the calendars in the narthex of the church and sign up soon! Flowers cost approximately $72 for the two arrangements delivered and missionary support is still only $25 for a week. Thanks!

Habitat for Humanity Volunteers Needed!!!!!!! Thrivent and local area Lutheran churches are building a habitat house in downtown Greenville. It is time to volunteer! There is a habitat for Humanity volunteer signup poster in the narthex. Please fully complete the volunteer forms in the folders and then return them to the completed forms folder. There are opportunites for construction and non-construction volunteers. The dates and tasks for each date are on the forms. You only need to fill out a medical form if you have a known allergy or some other medical issue that needs to be known. If you have questions, ask Charles Compton or Alison Patrick.

God's Pantry is in desperate need of FUNDS!! Members at LCOS have continuously been faithful in support of the food ministry at God's Pantry. Many times, the pantry would have closed without your support. Unfortunately, the economy has hit the pantry hard - donations are down while the need is the greater than ever. We have a challenge presented to us - $5,000 has been donated to the pantry IF another $10,000 can be raised by the end of August. If you can help, please either make your check to God's Pantry or LCOS and designate `God's Pantry" on the memo line. Every little bit will help this effort. Thank you in advance for your prayerful response to this need!
